2009
What a year we had together!
There were lots of trips, an engagement, and a few parties to follow.

We had a blast traveling with Debbie and Tom up the California Coast. The Morro Bay rock still haunts Jenn’s dreams.

The Big Sur area was beautiful and wouldn’t have been complete without a stop at the crazy Hearst Castle.

We can still smell the fresh air at Muir Woods.

In February, we got engaged on our way to Las Rosas in Ensenada overlooking the ocean.

We took a road trip through Arizona and New Mexico on a journey to see the home of Dubious. Costas couldn’t get over how spectacular the Grand Canyon was.

Such hospitality – cooking and cleaning for us!

Look closely, young Dub is in there!

The birth place of our favorite mugs.

In May, we went to Michigan for Louise and Dave’s wedding and this is all we got. That’ll teach Jenn to put Costas in charge of picture taking.

This year we also had a new member of the family join us. Tequila has a rough life lounging around and waiting her turn for the patch of sunlight. Don’t let her fool you though, she rules this roost!

During the summer, we spent Costas’ birthday in Paris, Jenn met the family for the first time in Cyprus, and then it was off to Barcelona for a stem cell conference.

On August 2, we got married and shared our vows with our family and friends in Ensenada at Las Rosas.

Buffy and Gary hosted a reception for us in Boise, Jenn’s hometown.

Costas and Shoutian went hiking with Dirk in Tucson while Jenn and Jan stayed back to take photos of the guys on the mountain. If you look very closely, you can see…no not really. Just trust us, they are up there.

We attended Chang and Shira’s wedding in Tucson on August 9th.

While we were there, we befriended a tarantula and apparently Costas and Luke had a thing for cacti.

Somebody forgot to tell Chris the dress code was blue. Celebrating Rob’s birthday at Fiesta Cantina in Hillcrest.
Everybody gets old Rob, it’s just a part of life.

Um, really?

In November, we attended the Elizabeth Smider Foundation Gala in honor of Elizabeth. For more information, please visit their website: http://www.elizabethsmiderfoundation.org/

We finished off the year with a good old sports game of bowling. The Nihilists consisted of Costas, Jenn, Rob, Eric, Chris, Carolyn, and baby Grayson (although at that time, he was only know as …).

Ok, so we weren’t that great. WHATEVER.

Rob is fancy, he bowls in a suit. Kristen subs in for Rob!
